To cater to the growing mobile gaming market, VIVO Play on Wednesday announced a new way to play one of India’s favourite game titles - PUBG - in a mobile-first platform.  rifle, an iconic pickup truck and the clothes on their back.The PUBG MOBILE India debut marks the biggest game launch in India to date for Vivo Play. “We are excited to introduce the PUBG MOBILE India launch which is designed to provide an exclusive gaming experience for players in India. While we can’t divulge a date of the PUBG MOBILE India game launch yet, we promise to bring the game on-the-go to players in India,” said Sunil Kamath, Senior Director - Consumer Business, Vivo India.VIVO Play has also announced a Rs 199 price for PUBG MOBILE on Vivo Play, bringing its cost down by 33 per cent. After launch, PUBG MOBILE will be available on Vivo Play to all smartphone users on Vivo’s IPL 2018 mobile app, Vivo V9, Vivo Y95, Vivo Y81 and soon on Vivo Y93 as well.The game is a 3D first-person shooter game. PUBG MOBILE is developed by the PUBG Corp. The Indian developers working on the game are Tencent, and it is optimised for the latest flagship devices, including the Vivo V9, which has the latest Snapdragon 660 processor, Mali G72MP3 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.Along with the launch of PUBG MOBILE on Vivo Play, Vivo has also announced the launch of the PUBG Mobile Reinforcement Packs, an annual promotional programme, which was launched last year as a premium pack of cosmetic items. Users will get a total of three Reinforcement Packs at Rs 149, Rs 199 and Rs 249, based on which players can unlock new characters, outfits, vehicles and badges. As part of the campaign, Vivo Play will also launch a series of daily contests to unlock these Reinforcement Packs.

Utilising Vivo Play’s 3D graphics technology, the game is optimised to run fast and is extremely fluid with its super smooth gameplay. PUBG MOBILE features an integrated exclusive game mode ‘Mook’ and matches allow up to 100 players to compete in real-time, split into four teams of 10 players each. PUBG MOBILE features optimised graphics quality, auto-switching from 2D to 3D, complete with destructible objects like the signature sticky and dynamic terrain, which are used by players to strategically position themselves and find weapons and other resources that may aid them in their survival journey. PUBG MOBILE is currently available in the European and Asian markets, and will launch in India soon on Vivo Play.
